Abstract

The purpose of this study was to establish the level of relationship that exists between the quality of academic and professional service and student satisfaction in the nursing school of the U.N.J.F.S.C. - Huacho, 2018. The design of the research used was descriptive correlational. The sample consisted of 132 students who were given a survey to obtain information on the quality of academic and professional service provided by the School of Nursing of the Faculty of Medicine, also collected information on student satisfaction through a questionnaire. The findings indicated that there is a direct and significant relationship between the quality of academic and professional service provided by the nursing school and the satisfaction of the students; a Spearman correlation value of 0.833 was obtained, representing a very strong positive correlation. Regarding the academic quality dimension, it was determined that there is a direct and significant relationship with student satisfaction, the Spearman correlation returned a value of 0.784, representing a correlation of good magnitude. Likewise, there is a direct relationship between management quality and student satisfaction, the correlation was 0.855, representing a very strong positive correlation. Finally, regarding the maintenance quality dimension and student satisfaction, the correlation was 0.827, representing a correlation of very good magnitude
