Objective: To determine if stress is related to the job performance of administrative workers in the University Welfare Office of the José Faustino Sánchez Carrión National University - Huacho 2018; Method and Material: The study population is made up of the administrative workers of the University Welfare Office. It is then a limited population. Counting this area with 23 workers covering administrative and chiefs; As instruments of data collection, the survey was applied; which contained 25 questions regarding the variable Stress and Work Performance. The anonymous character of the form was highlighted, as well as the sincerity of the answers issued to contribute to the success of the study. Results: They show that the main sources of stress in the workplace are mainly due to extra-employment risk factors such as economic situation, family problems and time away from work. These factors would be improved if companies assume clear policies of social responsibility. Conclusion: The present work established the significant relationship of Stress and Labor Performance, at the same time by calculating the Pearson Correlation it was established that Work Stress significantly affects the performance of administrative workers of the University Welfare Office and that This is due to the determination of different Stress factors.Downloads
