Work pressures and stress in secondary school teachers in public educational institutions in the District of Pativilca-2019

Objective: The present study, titled Work Pressure and Stress among Secondary School Teachers in Public Schools in the District of Pativilca - 2019, aimed to determine the relationship between work pressure and stress among secondary school teachers in public institutions in the district of Pativilca during the year 2019. Materials and Methods: A basic, correlational, and descriptive research was carried out. The study population consisted of 142 secondary school teachers from public institutions in and around the district of Pativilca. The survey technique was used, with two questionnaires as instruments: one with 30 items for variable X (work pressure) and another with 22 items for variable Y (work stress), applying reliability and normality tests. Results: A Pearson correlation of .481 was found in the general hypothesis test, with a p-value of .000, which is less than .05, indicating a significant positive correlation and supporting the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Conclusion: Work pressure is related to work stress in secondary school teachers in public institutions in the district of Pativilca during the year 2019.Downloads
