Remuneration improvements through collective bargaining and their impact on job performance

Objective: To determine how wage improvements through collective bargaining affect workers' job performance. Specific objective: To describe the labor criteria for granting wage improvements through collective bargaining. Methodology: Qualitative research, basic type, with an interpretive depth based on grounded theory. The instrument used for data collection was the interview guide, employing the interview technique. Results: Collective bargaining improves working conditions, increases employee satisfaction and productivity, and strengthens the employeremployee relationship. Conclusions: Collective bargaining increases employee job satisfaction and identification with the company or institution, leading to improved job performance and employer productivity. Thus, workers benefit, but there are also ways to enhance productivity as a form of reciprocity between both parties.Downloads
