Objective: To demonstrate how the use of writing techniques influences the writing of argumentative texts in fifth-gradesecondary school students in a public educational institution. Methods: It is a quasi-experimental study, a strategy wasapplied and then an entry and exit test to the GC and GE to a sample of 90 students, the statistics were performed usingSPSS 26. Results: It was found that 91.1% improved in writing texts with arguments through the use of writingtechniques. Learning to structure, they achieved 89.2%. In terms of planning before writing, 95.5% achieved what wasmost convenient. Regarding writing texts, 95.6% managed to write coherently, and 95.6% learned to review andevaluate their texts produced during the development of the classes. Conclusion: The application during classes ofthe method used generated improvements in writing texts with scientific argumentation seen from different points ofview in the students who participated in the study.Downloads
