State of Rural Education in times of health emergency: Ancash department case – Peru

Objective: Diagnose the state of rural education in times of health emergency in Ancash. Methods: It is a basic type study, with a phenomenological design, the study was developed under the qualitative paradigm, allowing discovery through observation starting from the particular to the general. The study was carried out in two educational institutions located in rural areas of the provinces of Sihuas and Independencia in the department of Áncash. The population consisted of 2 directors, 12 teachers, 6 parents, who were interviewed at the scene of the events. Results: Regarding the state of rural education in times of health emergency: case department of Ancash - Peru. It is evident that the vast majority of teachers, 70%, express their concern, arguing that educational institutions lack technological tools such as the Internet, lack of computers, etc., which is supported by 100% of the staff. director, and 75% of parents. Conclusion: The conclusion was reached that the respondents state that they have obstacles in applying technological tools because some educational institutions in rural areas lack the installation of technological tools, especially the Internet, making their pedagogical work difficultDownloads
