Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effect of three organic amendments the yield of potato variety Canchan in Panao, Huánuco. Methodology: An experiment was installed in Coñayca (Panao, Huánuco) under a Randomized Complete Block design in var. of potato Canchán, with four organic fertilization treatments and four repetitions. The treatments evaluated were: compost, earthworm humus and guinea pig manure, these were applied before sowing at a dose of 20 t ha-1. Sowing was carried out at distances of 0.30 m between plants and 0.90 between rows. The harvest was 149 days after sowing, evaluating plant height, number of tubers per plant and weight of tubers per plant. Results: it was found that organic fertilizers showed a significant effect on all the indicators evaluated; earthworm humus obtained the best results with an average of 5.33 tubers per plant and 1020.3 g per plant. Conclusion: By incorporating 20 t ha-1 of earthworm humus into the soil, the number and weight of first-class and total tubers per plant increased, with an average yield of 37.79 t ha-1 in Panao, Huanuco.
